DEVELOPMENT: Blueprint Projects wins approval for $1 billion Texas data center. Blueprint Projects, led by CEO Yaerid Jacob, has secured unanimous approval from the Taylor City Council to develop a $1 billion, 135,000-square-foot data center campus on a 52-acre site northeast of Austin. The project will be built in three phases, powered initially by a 30MW Oncor agreement, and is expected to create 20–30 jobs.

DEVELOPMENT: Dataprana launches 30MW mining site in Texas. Dataprana, co-founded by CEO Arseniy Grusha and COO Maximilian Plies, has brought online a 30MW immersion-cooled cryptomining and AI data center in La Marque, Texas, nearly a year after first announcing the project. The modular facility features 30 water-cooled mining containers from Intelliflex and Arctic Systems, hosting 5,000 ASIC machines from Bitmain, Whatsminer, and Canaan.

DEVELOPMENT: Aligned Data Centers to build multi-billion dollar campus in Ohio. Aligned Data Centers, led by CEO Andrew Schaap, will develop a multi-billion-dollar data center campus in Coshocton, Ohio, on a 197-acre site within the Conesville Industrial Park. The project, adjacent to the former AEP Conesville Power Plant, will feature up to four buildings, with the first data center set to deliver capacity by mid-2026. A foundational customer has already been secured.

ENERGY: Meta signs $900 million solar PPA with Enbridge in Texas. Meta has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Enbridge for the full output of the 600MW Clear Fork solar project near San Antonio, Texas. The $900 million project, currently under construction, is expected to be completed by summer 2027 and will supply renewable power for Meta’s data centers in the state. “We are thrilled to partner with Enbridge to bring new renewable energy to Texas and help support our operations with 100 percent clean energy,” said Urvi Parekh, Meta’s head of global energy.
