DEVELOPMENT: Skybox plans 350-acre campus in Texas. Skybox Datacenters is seeking approval to develop a new data center campus on roughly 350 acres of city-owned land northeast of San Angelo, Texas. The land would be sold for about $17.4 million at roughly $50,000 per acre. The proposal calls for six four-story buildings, each around 248,000 square feet, with power supplied from spare capacity at the nearby Red Creek substation, which currently uses only about 10% of its capacity.

DEVELOPMENT: Prologis seeks approval for 13-building campus in Indiana. Prologis plans to develop a 13-building data center campus on 576 acres in Indianapolis, Indiana. No end user or power load has been disclosed.

DEVELOPMENT: Elon Musk’s xAI buys third Memphis building for data center expansion. Elon Musk’s xAI has acquired a third building in Memphis, Tennessee, called MACROHARDRR, for a planned data center, potentially bringing the company’s total compute capacity to almost 2 gigawatts.

ENERGY: Vantage Data Centers and Liberty Energy form 1GW partnership for AI and cloud campuses. Vantage Data Centers and Liberty Energy have formed a strategic partnership to deliver up to 1GW of high-efficiency power for Vantage’s North American data center campuses. The agreement includes a reservation for 400MW of generation capacity in 2027 and potential expansion beyond 1GW over the next five years. “Access to dependable, scalable power is critical for hyperscale growth,” said Dana Adams, President of North America at Vantage Data Centers. “This alliance aligns energy and digital infrastructure at unprecedented scale,” said Ron Gusek, CEO of Liberty Energy.
