DEVELOPMENT: Crusoe and Tallgrass win approval for 1.8GW campus in Wyoming. Crusoe and Tallgrass have received approval from Laramie County officials to develop Project Jade, a 1.8-gigawatt gas-powered data center campus near Cheyenne, Wyoming.

DEVELOPMENT: $1 billion data center planned for Southern Ohio. A company affiliated with Tilted Gate is planning a 500,000-square-foot, $1 billion data center in Scioto County, with the facility proposed for the Franklin Furnace area in the Haverhill community along the Ohio River. The Scioto County Commission is considering a 75% tax abatement for 15 years under a PILOT agreement that would generate $500,000 annually.

DEVELOPMENT: xAI confirms $20 billion Mississippi data center. xAI has confirmed plans to build a third data center in Southaven, DeSoto County, Mississippi, committing more than $20 billion to the state. The facility, dubbed MACROHARDRR, will supply compute for xAI’s Colossus supercomputer.

MARKET: Applied Digital accelerates North Dakota AI campus. Applied Digital says its North Dakota expansion is evolving into a multi-campus AI infrastructure platform, with management now expecting to exceed $1 billion in net operating income within five years. CEO Wes Cummins confirmed that Polaris Forge 1 reached ready-for-service, energizing 100 MW on schedule and completing the first of three contracted buildings after more than $1 billion in upfront investment. Financially, CFO Saidal Mohmand reported Q2 FY2026 revenue of $126.6 million, up 250% year-over-year, driven by tenant fit-out services and early lease income.
