PARTNERSHIP: Nvidia and CBRE partner to offer AI colocation services. CBRE has partnered with Nvidia to provide AI advisory services for enterprises looking to expand their AI-ready data center capacity. The collaboration will help businesses identify and deploy colocation facilities that meet the high-performance computing demands of AI applications, as major tech companies race to scale their AI infrastructure. As part of the partnership, CBRE will act as a solutions adviser consultant for Nvidia AI clients, helping enterprises secure AI-optimized data center space with the necessary power, cooling, and networking capabilities to support advanced AI workloads.

PARTNERSHIP: Modern Hydrogen, Mesa Solutions partner on on-site hydrogen solution for data centers. Modern Hydrogen has signed a strategic partnership with Mesa Solutions to develop an on-site hydrogen power generation solution tailored for the data center market. Announced at the POWERGEN International Conference in Houston, the partnership will focus on deploying a generator system that runs entirely on hydrogen, using natural gas as the source fuel. “Dispatchable, reliable power is the backbone of data center operations, and our partnership with Mesa Solutions ensures that data centers can generate clean energy onsite without waiting for the electricity grid,” said Tony Pan, CEO of Modern Hydrogen.

DEVELOPMENT: Two million SF data center planned in Georiga. Atlas Development has submitted a DRI filing for Project Springbank, a large-scale data center campus planned for Bartow County, Georgia, approximately 40 miles northwest of Atlanta. The proposed development would include six buildings totaling 2.27 million square feet, with an expected completion date of December 2031. The site, located southeast of Adairsville along Perkins Mountain Road, will utilize closed-loop cooling technology to minimize water and sewer demand.

DEVELOPMENT: Alphabet expects $75 billion CAPEX in 2025. Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai announced that the company plans to invest approximately $75 billion in capital expenditures in 2025 as it accelerates its artificial intelligence infrastructure buildout. Alphabet joins other major tech companies in an aggressive race to expand AI infrastructure, with Microsoft committing to $80 billion in AI-related capital expenditures this fiscal year and Meta planning to spend between $60 billion and $65 billion.

DEVELOPMENT: OpenAI scouting 16 states for Stargate locations. SoftBank is preparing to invest $40 billion in OpenAI as the artificial intelligence leader considers 16 states for its massive Stargate data center development joint venture. The deal, which would value OpenAI at approximately $260 billion, is expected to be finalized soon, with SoftBank distributing the funding over the next one to two years. The initial payment could arrive as early as this spring, and SoftBank has the option to syndicate up to $10 billion of the investment to additional backers.
