PARTNERSHIP: 365 Data Centers and Aphorio Carter partner on 200MW expansion. 365 Data Centers has formed a strategic partnership with Aphorio Carter, the critical infrastructure and data center arm of Carter Funds, to develop about 200 megawatts of AI-ready data center capacity across key U.S. markets. Derek Gillespie, CEO and CRO of 365 Data Centers, said the partnership is designed to create a new class of high-density infrastructure built for AI-era workloads, while John Regan, president and COO of Aphorio Carter, said the collaboration combines real estate, utility-aligned development, and operating expertise to bring power-rich environments online faster.

FINANCING: Meta pursues roughly $13 billion financing package for Texas data center. Meta Platforms is working with Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase on a roughly $13 billion financing package for a data center in El Paso, Texas. Most of the financing is expected to come in the form of debt, with the remainder in equity. The move reflects a broader shift as major tech companies pour hundreds of billions into data centers to support AI demand and become more willing to use outside financing to accelerate infrastructure buildouts.

FUNDRAISING: KKR raises more than $10 billion for new AI infrastructure platform. KKR has reportedly secured more than $10 billion from investors to launch Helix Digital Infrastructure, a new company focused on developing and operating AI infrastructure. The venture will be led by former Amazon Web Services CEO Adam Selipsky as chief executive officer, while KKR’s global head of digital infrastructure, Waldemar Szlezak, will serve as chief investment officer.

MARKET: Blackstone seeks $1.75 billion IPO for new public data center REIT. Blackstone is seeking to raise $1.75 billion through an IPO for Blackstone Digital Infrastructure Trust, a new publicly traded REIT focused on acquiring newly built data centers leased to top investment-grade hyperscalers. The REIT will be led by Nick Pell, formerly president and chief investment officer of Link Logistics.
