ENERGY: Plug Power eyes $275M, data center shift. Plug Power plans to unlock over $275 million by monetizing assets, releasing restricted cash, and reducing maintenance costs, as it pivots toward supplying hydrogen-powered backup and auxiliary power for the growing data center market. CEO Andy Marsh highlighted that these moves strengthen the company’s balance sheet and expand its reach into high-growth, energy-intensive industries.

DEVELOPMENT: Google to build two new data centers. Google plans to invest billions in two new data centers in Muskogee, marking the company’s third major site in Oklahoma. The project represents the largest economic investment in the city’s history and expands Google’s regional footprint alongside its Stillwater and Pryor campuses.

DEVELOPMENT: Anthropic to spend $50B on U.S. AI data centers. Anthropic plans to invest $50 billion in US AI infrastructure, beginning with customer data centers in Texas and New York. CEO Dario Amodei highlighted the role of these facilities in accelerating AI development.

MARKET: Hyperscale Data’s bitcoin treasury hits $75M. Hyperscale Data announced its Bitcoin treasury has reached $75.25 million, representing about 66% of its market capitalization.
