DEVELOPMENT: PRMS eyes 300-acre campus in Ohio. PRSM has filed to rezone 300 acres in Preble County, Ohio, from agricultural to industrial use for a proposed data center campus aimed at hyperscale clients. Patrick Scanlon, PRSM’s president, said the project would generate jobs, fund schools, and increase tax revenue, but added that if a buyer isn’t found, the land could revert to agricultural use.

DEVELOPMENT: Meta plans $50 billion data center in Louisiana. Meta is preparing to build a $50 billion data center in Louisiana. To meet demand, utility Entergy will construct three new natural gas plants and upgrade transmission lines, a plan recently approved by the Louisiana Public Service Commission.

PARTNERSHIP: Prometheus, Conduit partner on hybrid power for Texas hyperscale data centers. Prometheus Hyperscale and Conduit Power have partnered to deliver hybrid gas-plus-battery power solutions for data centers in Texas. Prometheus CEO Trenton Thornock said the collaboration sets a “new standard for sustainable hyperscale development,” while Conduit CEO Matt Herpich emphasized extending low-carbon power expertise to meet the demands of AI-driven infrastructure.

ENERGY: Certarus to supply 50MW of mobile gas power to hyperscale data center. Certarus, a Canadian natural gas firm, has signed a deal with an unnamed U.S. hyperscale data center operator to provide 50MW of temporary onsite power using mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) units. Certarus VP Marshall Zurovec said the agreement highlights the company’s ability to deliver rapid, reliable energy solutions.
